PDO Threads is a minimally invasive procedure performed by our Cosmetic doctor or nurse for skin tightening and facial contouring.

How does it work:

Mono threads are made from Polydioxanone an absorbable polymer. This material is both flexible and durable. PDO Threads are inserted into the sub dermal level to promote the creation of new collagen. The threads activate collagen synthesis which produces a gradual skin thickening, skin tightening and rejuvenation effect.

How long does this last?

They induce natural collagen production, which creates a tightening effect. The PDO thread will dissolve by 6 months. Results may be seen in 6 weeks and will continue to improve over 2 to 6 months. While the threads slowly dissolve, their effects may last up to 12-18 months. Longer is combination with other therapies and at home maintenance regime.

What should I expect after my treatment?

The number of treatments depends on desired results. At least 2-3 treatments are required.
